SafeGuard’s restraint and violence at work consultant Jim O’Dwyer has published his latest newsletter  which, as usual, has lots of interesting articles, including  an update on the recent abrupt changes to NHS Security Management  and the implications for staff and patients.

Further subjects include the opportunity for free SIA  training for females,  free counter terrorist training for security operatives, the implications of an investigation of unlicensed festival security operatives as well as the implications of inappropriate restraint and action being taken by one NHS Trust to ensure restraint techniques are appropriate.

All articles are available to download here.
